Throughout the year, the South High Music Department holds various fundraisers to financially support the activities and students in the Music department. The fundraisers have enabled us to help students with scholarships for the annual music department trip, which has taken us to St. Louis, Chicago, Memphis & Nashville, New Orleans, and Washington, D.C. We have also been able to bring in guest artists to work with students, purchase new instruments and new music, and add a greater variety of music classes to open up more opportunities for additional South High students to participate in musical experiences.
